Three Significant Contract Manufacturing From River Fall

The beginning of the new year gives us time to reflect upon the accomplishments achieved in 2019. It also provides a great opportunity to update you — our valued customers, partners and employees — about how these successes are fueling Precise Packaging’s positive outlook. We are especially excited to tell you about three significant developments, investments and upgrades we accomplished in 2019 to improve our contract manufacturing and filling services for 2020.

ENHANCED AEROSOL AND LIQUID PRODUCT OFFERINGS

The acquisition of Precise Packaging by PLZ Corp (PLZ) marked a major milestone, positioning the business for continued growth in the years ahead. PLZ specializes in the development, manufacturing, packaging and distribution of a comprehensive line of contract fill, branded and private-label products. Together, PLZ and Precise Packaging can draw upon additional resources, relationships and capabilities, to better serve customers as a value-added strategic partner for a full suite of specialty aerosol and liquid products.

EXPANDED PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT CAPABILITIES

We opened a new production facility and added a new aerosol production line. Our new 15,000 square-foot production facility features two custom liquid filling lines with room for expansion, as well as a new shrink sleeve for enhanced decoration of cans and jars. The production facility also broadens our aerosol and liquid product development offerings to support further product innovation.

Our new aerosol production line increased plant capabilities by delivering added production options for aerosol products. As part of these aerosol line enhancements, we introduced an automated shrink bundler to offer improved options for cost-effective shrink bundling.

NEW CBD OIL FORMULATION AND FILLING SERVICES

We enhanced our contract manufacturing services to include CBD oil-based product formulation and filling capabilities. Our CBD oil capabilities support the development of a variety of high-growth CBD personal care products, including massage oils, body sprays, hair care products and more, available in small travel sizes, up to larger homecare sizes.

LEVERAGING CONTRACT MANUFACTURING UPGRADES FOR THE FUTURE

As a contract manufacturing and filling partner, we achieved strong growth in 2019 driven by strategic developments and upgrades. We are excited to leverage these investments in manufacturing capacity, along with the capabilities and connections of PLZ, to better serve our personal care, household and OTC customers.
