Behind the Label is a celebration of the innumerable contributions made by the PLZ team — the efforts behind the label. Not everyone knows about the work it takes to create the products people rely on every day…but PLZ does. We began in 1947 with a single aerosol product. Today, PLZ is a billion dollar corporation with 14 locations, and is still growing.

Our history pioneering the aerosol industry dates back to 1947, when our founder John Ferring III invented the first aerosol product that catered to the auto industry. Today, PLZ produces thousands of different aerosols and liquids in our facilities across the continent, from household cleaning solutions to personal care products, and foodservice items to automotive lubricants. We know that being the partner of choice for our customers starts with being the partner of choice for our employees.
